SNOW FALL in ANNAPOLIS, MD - THE OTHER DAY

Just one of those pretty snowfalls that made everything look pristine and clean and oh so beautiful.

Meet Sammy, he lives in the office next door - out playing in the snow on the deck

WINTER SUNSETS

The frigid air on the east coast has also brought along some spectacularly beautiful sunsets unlike any others I have seen down the road from my home, in a long time.  Just a few I have taken in the past couple of weeks, all looking across the same sod farm in my neighborhood ………………..

STREET ART IN EASTPORT, ANNAPOLIS, MD

I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED STREET ART, THIS WALL IN THE MARITIME DISTRICT OF EASTPORT IN ANNAPOLIS IS GORGEOUS - OLD, PEELING IN PLACES, FADED IN OTHERS BUT STANDING THE TEST OF TIME.

OH I LOVE SHOPPING IN WHOLEFOODS

A few photos of my favorite supermarket, Wholefoods - lots of local, organic fresh produce, flower market, olive bar, grass fed beef, organic scratch chicken, freshly caught seafood, plus a host of grains, teas, baked goods, salads, candles, home made soaps and everything else I want to fill my life with.

Peonies and hydrangeas - bunches of the blooms

Fresh produce, including fresh coconuts, which I just had to have

Fresh from the local farm

What can I say but YUM

Imagine buying a whole wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano

Looking at the cheese counter - look at the whole wheels stacked up behind the counter

This Organic 12-seed made the best cheese, tomato and basil sandwich for lunch

Grains, nuts and seeds on tap

All things fruity and nutty in a bag

Coffee anyone?

A rainbow of homemade soaps to buy by the slice

And even more, they look deliciously edible

Candles

Wall murals painted along the wall in the underground parking.  I love this one - EAT LOCAL.

MAY BASKETS on Main Street, Annapolis, MD

Annapolis turns into floral festivities on May Day - the historic Main Street shopkeepers compete to see who can come up with the most original and luscious "basket" and it is wonderful to stroll the street, looking to see what they produce.  This year was just lovely weather and some beautiful work.

I thought these three were great - outside a pub.

Looking up the Main Street of Annapolis

In good old Irish Tradition

The Black Dog store - fun clothing

Not May baskets, just fun colorful masks for sale

At the Olive Oil Store, Seasons

The Alpaca Store - gorgeous clothing all made from Peruvian Alpaca wool.
